Tell Tale Collection: kingvas78's review

First off, until I downloaded the first episode of Game of Thrones I would honestly of never thought of trying any of these games, Game of Thrones changed my perspective, completely!

-

I usually stick to FPS, same old stuff, aim, shoot, etc... for the most part mindless but entertaining. I gave Game of Thrones a chance ONLY because episode 1 was free. HOOKED! I jumped on the Tell Bundle for $55.

These game give you control, on how the story unfolds and decision making...  sometimes split second... right or wrong...  Now I have only played GoT (2 episodes) but am currently focused on WD Season 1, very addicting style of game play. The player decides who lives, who dies, who stays and who goes.... all in an adult setting.. unedited. They are like choose your own adventure books.... on X1.

-

Overall, for the amount of game play one receives with these games, and easy achievements, I would highly recommend this bundle @ $55. I wouldn't pay full price ($110) but @ $55..... there is a lot of game play to keep one occupied for days, months.....

Just my opinion.... felt the urge to share!

A Wolf Among Us and Tales From The Borderlands is fun as well.

Finally caught up to the times, ey? Haha ;-p

They are amazing, I think I bought the bundle in December and still waiting for full episodes for GoT and Boderlands. TWD and The wolf among us though, so so good.

I'll even admit to shedding tear at the end of TWD season 1, never have I been so affected by a video game, I was seriously feeling depressed for a few weeks after, haha.

Maybe I'll give my Walking Dead ones a second look.  I just remember button jamming hyperventilation.  Maybe I was too quick to back out of it.

Telltale's The Walking Dead is 1 of the best story-based and emotionally-driven games I have ever played and is therefore among the top of my list when it comes to the best games I've ever played. It evoked so many genuine emotions as I played through the whole thing - not many games can do that.

...and I've played a LOT of games. ;)

It was for that reason that I picked up the bundle again for the XB1 and will be the reason why I pick up Minecraft: Story Mode when it releases.

Still, I haven't had the opportunity to play Jurrassic Park or Back to the Future yet... :(

I find Game of Thrones a faster paced game then Walking Dead, but the decision making is so different between the games.... especially in WD, very entertaining.... need to give Borderlands a try here soon.....

The Walking Dead is my favourite of the Telltale game, though I confess to never playing the Sam and Max titles.

While the world is that of the Kirkman comic all the characters are new creations, barring Glenn and the Greene's of course. This gives Telltale far more freedom over the characters and how they act.

Just finished Season 1 of Walking Dead...  wow.... even my wife was watching the finale.... heartbreaking twist....

Jurassic park and back to the future are definitely worth playing.

Oh King, I don't envy you having just gone through that! Haha, season 2 is good, but wasn't as emotionally draining for me. I'm not sure a game ever could be after that first season, I think it genuinely made me more defensive when getting attached to characters, haha.

I like Telltale games.

These types of cartoonish games are good in an episodic format, but only these types. Unfortunately the popularity of these games, and their episodic formats in my opinion has made others follow suit and now it's reared it's ugly head into AAA games like Hitman and Resident Evil. You also have Life is Strange among others.

I hope I'm wrong and it doesn't spin out of control.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!
