System update failure

Ok so the recent xbox update failed on my console giving me these error codes. 3151-335A-1380-2203-C000-0001.

Says that my console is looking for a previous update or something. Can someone give me a link where i can manually update my console? Ive been looking everywhere on the update > found it but when i click on the link it tells me that the page is no longer there?

WTF? CANT CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE

Ok i will try this shortly and tell you the result.

The thing is i get the update and it gets about 90% done and then the bar stops moving and i then get the system failure. Ive been looking through the forums and this update seems to be doing a bit of damage. Is it a corrupt download?.

Ive tried re downloading the update

This update isn't doing random damage. It is updating the software of the console to be able to read the new disc format that xboxs will be using, and as BumbleBee G6 said it is detecting if aftermarket or non microsoft parts are in the console. It's not something that will start working if you do know for a fact that there are parts that were put in by a 3rd party, it would need to be sent in for repair @ Microsoft since they are the only place that is allowed to work on the xbox. Other companies claim they can make issues go away, but by using them it breaches the terms of use. Microsoft is the only certified repair vendor for the xbox, 3rd parties may get a RRoD to go away or replace HDD's but they can't tell you with any guarantee that MS will let that console back on xbox live.
