System Glitch?

Ok so, on xbox i have silver so i tried to upgrade but it pops up with a box with letters and numbers. So i go online and try, I use a redeemable code for xbox live gold, but then it says

Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

 

and it also says that when i try to buy monthly.

What's the error code that you see when you try on the console? That will help narrow down the issue.

Or you can try checking billing.microsoft.com to see if all of your information is correct and that you don't owe any balances which would be causing the errror.

i have the same problem too i tried searching the error codes to find out what it its but cant find any result it've been 5 days!!!

Here is the link to the billing website http//www.billing.microsoft.com make sure everything is in order there. Is that "Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened" message appear on xbox.com for you?

the same thing is hapening to me and when i try on xbox it says cannot retrieve information frm xbox live status code 8016a04b

Fries, you say you are having the same issue, which is upgrading to Gold, but you seem to be Gold at this time. Did you solve your issue, or are you actually having a different problem?
