Switching between two consoles

Hello everyone I'm hoping to get some insight on this. My husband and I have both recently gotten really into playing on the xbox so much so that we are fighting over who gets to play so we are talking about getting a second console to put with our second TV. My issue comes from the fact that i will be having to be switching between the two and the new 360s series does not have the HDD that i can just move between the systems. Am i going to have to retrieve my gamertag and stuff everytime? what is the best way to deal with this situation. Thank you in advanced and I'm sorry if this is a silly question.

My suggestion would be to pick up two USB Flash Drives.  Format them for use on the XBOX 360 and each one of you put your Gamertag on one.  Then when moving from Console to Console - simply grab 'your' Flash drive and go.

You will want to pay attention to which kind of USB Flash drive you buy if you don't pick up one of the officially lics. XBOX 360 Flash Drives, not all are support but if it is a high speed flash drive you shouldn't have a problem.

^CubicleZombie hit the nail on the head. :) Due to the nature of my job, I have to move between multiple Xbox 360 consoles, and keeping the GT on the USB makes it super easy. :)

Just to note... The new models do have a removable HDD, but it's inside a panel, and different than the older model.
