Switch DVR input when Xbox One is turned on

Is there a way for the xbox to switch my DVR over to the correct input when I turn the xbox on?

My chromecast does it when I send video to it, but I haven't been able to find a setting on the xbox for it to do the same thing.

Thanks!

Do you have the dvr plugged in to the xbox? If so just say Xbox go to tv. You wont be able to control it with voice commands once it is on

Oops, meant AV Receiver, not DVR

When something is sent to the chromecast, the receiver will switch to that input.  It would be nice if the xbox would do the same when it's turned on

I think that is an hdmi cec thing and should be a setting within your avr to sense the signal is in use and performs the auto switching of your input.

See if your avr has hdmi control via each input or if its an all or nothing deal. It could be that xbox has to support hdmi control as we'll and that is the problem, but I thought it was based on the avr or tv depending on how you were doing hdmi switching ( at the tv vs the receiver)

The setting in the AVR is all or nothing, which is on right now.

It sounds like the xbox just doesn't send that message when it's turn on; maybe in a future update
