Suspension for billing

I bought a membership because it was 20% off with a prepaid debit card. I ended up using up all the money on it before they charged me, now they can't charge me and my acc. is suspended. I have a 12 month code, but I can't switch that as the membership option for some reason, how can I fix this?

You need to settle the account balance first. Call up phone support (support.xbox.com/.../contact-us.aspx) and ask about your options. Once the account is brought back into good standing, you will be able to update your subscription.
