Surface RT Xbox One streaming?

I'll keep it short and sweet, I know windows 10 isn't exactly coming to the OG RT, but stuff has said some "limited features" would.  Just wanted to know if the Xbox streaming was one of these features, or is my childlike anticipation all for naught?!?!

I am pretty sure I read somewhere it will only work on the Surface 3 and pro versions, sorry to rain on your parade mate.

Maybe MS will implement it into the Rt versions if enough people ask for it and the demand is there.

If you install Windows 10, game streaming will technically be in the Xbox App, but it may not work. This isn't because of siphoning features away from the Surface RT, but hardware requirements for getting the feature to work.

These are:

  • Processor: At least 1.5 GHz
  •  RAM: At least 4 GB
  •  Video card: Needs to support hardware H.264 video decoding
  • Network: A wired Ethernet connection works best for game streaming
  • For a wireless connection: An 802.11 N or newer wireless adapter
  • Other: An Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller

If the RT can hit those specs, the feature should work; if not, then it won't.
