i called support today and i got someone on the phone and she says that "were working very hard to solve your problem" and then i called back in 4 hours and this guy got on the phone with me and he said the marketplace was fine, so i tried my 1400 point card and it shows me that i can get the points so i press "done" and it comes up with-

(X) Marketplace error

Please help me "Support" if that is what you do!!!!

That code means that your purchasing privileges (including adding points) has been locked.  Either due to the fact that you owe money or your personal info does not match your credit card info.

Go to billing.microsoft.com and double check that your info is correct or you don't owe money.  If you can't solve your problem there, call support again but this time ask to speak with billing as they are the only ones who can help you.
