Suddenly has "Network" connecting issues.

I've been connecting to Xbox Live by having my 360 connected to my laptop. I haven't had any issues when suddenly I can't connect to Xbox Live. I test the network and It fails at the Network section, which has only ever happened to me when the ethernet cord is loose. This time though, it says it has to do with the IP settings, which doesn't make sense to me since I've been using the same manual IP/DNS settings for months now. I get this error when I go to more info.

It seems as though even though the ethernet cord is plugged into both laptop and Xbox 360, it doesn't show that the 360 is plugged in on my laptop connections.

Hi, sounds your already onto the issue, if the Ethernet cord is loose it either needs replacing or there is a fault with the network card itself
