Use the pass code that you can put on your account, and make a very sophisticated password

Make sure to contact Support and open an Unauthorised Access Case. If they rule in your favour you'll be refunded anything taken from you. support.xbox.com/call-us

I LOL at people who get their accounts "hacked". I don't ever have to worry about that.

This is all due to EA.  They REALLY need to fix their security holes - or MS needs to sue them to make them do so.

Don't be so quick to blame EA. Recent news stories point to it not being on EA's end. Rather it's on Microsoft's end. Specifically, this very website that you are reading this from.

This is why my WLID email is only used for Xbox, and the password is something random :)

According to these forums, there sure has been alot of this crap going on. Maybe someone (M$, EA, IW, victims, etc.) ought to start pressing criminal charges, instead of just banning accounts. Hell, a new account is made the second one is banned. Thieves don't care, and this is exactly what these people are. They should be treated like thieves, cough up restitution and some jail time. That would put a dent in their activity.........

It's a typo error for the windows live ID. It's in ways your own fault as well for using the same email for the gamertag. Since they'll search the gamertag on google and find any leads.

Blame yourself with ur s-- of key generators.

Who ever believed in that crap? Free microsoft points keygen?

That's why you got hacked. You gave ur ID/Pass all by yourself.

This thread is coming on two months of stale. Some lessons are hard learned, and some cannot be avoided. I'm going to lock this thread before it molds.
