Subscription Billing

I have not had an Xbox 360 in over a year, yet this morning I received an email saying that on the 1st of January I was going to be charged for a yearly subscription. This also means that in Jan 2013 I was also charged due to this without having used the service at all or being notified I was being charged. 

To me this is unacceptable and I feel that it is wrong to continue charging an ex consumer for a service they no longer use without consulting them

You should try turning off auto-renew (which is likely the reason here for this) from My Account (upper right).

You should also get in touch with Phone Support at support.xbox.com/contact-us if you are not able to do that.
