Strict NAT problems

I'm having some trouble getting my NAT settings to work good with my 360. I have a Netgear WGR614v10 router and Motorola 2210-02-1022 modem. I've tried port forwarding, enabling uPnP, wired/wireless connection, and still it isn't working. The only suggestion left seems to be the modem messing things up...I just looked at the modem configuration in my browser, and didn't see any options that looked relevant. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Okay, well I set my modem's "PPP" to off (bridge mode), but now the "Internet" light isn't lighting up on the modem and I can't connect to the configuration page (I've tried resetting it), or any page for that matter....
