Every time I try to download the Xbox live update I get the error code 3F4A-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570. I have tried looking online but I can't find any solutions for this specific error code. Also, all of the profiles we had on our Xbox disappeared, and
I can't redownload them because I can't update Xbox live. I have already tried clearing the cache and removing past updates as suggested for other errors but nothing has worked.
A sequential power cycle is the first step in clearing connection problems, and the order and timing of the steps is important to success:
1) turn off the Xbox and unplug the power supply cord from the back of the Xbox then 2) unplug power from the router (Some folks have a combination modem-router AKA 'gateway' or only use a modem with no router. If either, skip steps 3 & 6). 3) unplug power from the modem. 4) Wait at least 5 minutes then replug the modem/gateway power. 5) Wait 'til the light on the front of the modem/gateway which says BROADBAND, ONLINE, READY, CABLE or DSL is on solid (not flashing), then plug in the router. If you have a gateway instead of a modem and router or a modem with no router, then when that
light says it's ready, skip to step 7. 6) Wait until the WiFi light on the router is on; you may not use WiFi, but it's still a good indicator your router is finished booting up.
7) Plug in and turn on the Xbox. For more background on Ports, see
I am having the same exact problem. I took the 250 GB HD and the system could update. I have deleted the profile, system cache and all of that good stuff and still I am unable to update. I am going to try doing the update using my other hard drive but
I am getting really tired of having this problems, this is not a new product, the 360 is an old product could you have figure out how to put a more friendly message instead of a random string of numbers?
I hope this fixes the problem, but there are other problems that can trigger that error that is not connection. Also why would connection be an issue if the xbox knows there is an update that it needs to apply??? wouldn't that just rule out the connection
Did this solve your problem?
Sorry this didn't help.
