Can you use 2 x 16GB dongles at the same time as I need more storage or will I have to purchase a internal hard drive ? Is here a external hard drive available for me to unplug and take to friends houses ?
You can use up to a 32GB on each USB external storage device - Microsoft upped it from 16GB some time ago. When using sticks of the same size, I would recommend naming them differently as I did have problems at one time putting in 2 identical drives named
the same and the system only seeing one. While you could technically use an external USB hard drive, you can only use a 32GB partition for the Xbox with the rest going to waste - you're better off sticking with USB Flash Drives. You can use the content on
the drives on another console as long as you (the purchaser) are logged into Live while using it - this is the DRM restrictions that Visage was referring to above.
Did this solve your problem?
Sorry this didn't help.
