if u have another xbox to sign on for abit, recover ur account, got to account management, scroll over to account information, and enter account security, u can turn on the require password feature, they'll need to enter ur email password to sign into xbox live, there is also a pass code feature to require them to enter a 4 button combo to sign into ur account

Click this link to remotely require a password on the console

support.xbox.com/.../password-protect-account

You can do this from your computer, just scroll down until you find it.

Also, contact your local authorities.  Although support can help with unauthorized access to your account they can't do much else.  However, the police can get a warrant to have xbox search the ip of your gamertag to find out where the console is.

And the most important thing to do - Report to local authorities.

Here's a follow up question for you:  I went and enabled the need for my Windows Live ID password today and gave it a whirl.  When I select my profile I have to enter my Passcode as per normal and then it tells me it needs my Windows Live ID password and I enter it.  It then asks if I want the console to remember it and I pass on that, but then instead of signing me into Xbox LIVE it signs me in Offline and I have to click "Sign In" again and then re-enter my Passcode.

I've logged in a few times now and can't find a way around this double entry of info.

Anything I'm missing, or is this how it is?

Thanks!

That's how it is.  It requires the password to sign into live.  If the system doesn't sign you into live, there's not much you can do with the account.

Well that's the thing, it doesn't sign me into Xbox LIVE, it requires my Windows Live ID Password to sign me in _Offline_ and then will let me connect to Xbox LIVE after clicking an additional OK, followed by my Pass Code.
