Still can not connect to live on 360

I have tried for 3 days now and every time I do a test everything connects fine until it tries to connect to Xbox live. I have cleared my cache numerous times, reformatted my drive, deleted my profile(now it won't let me download it again), and reset my network settings to default....nothing is working. I keep getting a live connection error. Everything else is the house that uses the WiFi including the ps3 and Wii are connecting just fine. Can someone please help?

Can you provide the following information?

  1. What Country/State/Province do you live in? 
  2. Modem brand & model number: 
  3. Router brand & model number: 
  4. If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?
  5. Is UPnP Enabled? Answer either yes/no/unknown
  6. Error Codes you encounter:
  7. Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

Have you attempted removing the network from your Xbox 360 and then rebooting followed by adding it back again?  Sometimes the issue has to do with something as small as IP address conflicts.  I have also seen this happen when someone adds or removes a Kinect to the 360.  If that does not work the router information would be helpful moving forward but please give the above a try first.

Dustyfiddle34, the problem seems to be with MS servers and not your end. I have the same problem as you and my connection to Live servers are ok. The whole house uses the same wifi connection so its not my ISP. Have reported this issue to MS support and they say they are working on it so let it simmer a day or 2.

I started having this issue on the 9th. yesterday. I can connect to the router and internet but not xbox live. Today I tried it and I still can't. I also noticed some folks mentioning in comments on a youtube video showing that person was having trouble. I noticed some folks had this issue starting 3 weeks ago. Do we even know if they are working on it? Because the customer representatives I talked with yesterday had no clue that others were having issues.

I have the same issue, cleared cache and deleted profiles....now unable to download profiles although I'm LAN connected on all my devices and everything is working fine.  I'll attempt 3 times to download profile when it comes back with the error that Xbox Live cannot be connected, then on the 4th try it will connect and start to download my profile...3 minutes in and then it will disconnect with the error that "Profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later"....this points to me that it is a MS issue....been battling the last 3 days.  I can succesfully lof into my xbox live accoutn from any computer in my house.  I have re-confirmed that the required ports are open as well on my ADSL router.

e if your home comp. and cell phone are on,might have something to do with that. I've had a problem like that,or they could be experiancing problems with the servers and such,maybe your internet too.
