My brother has recently used my xbox 360, and when he signed up for xbox live, he was offered a free month xbox live trial and he is 17, so he was not told to put in any information dealing with payment, how can we fix this so he can try to play with his friends? -I am 16 and when i started my trial, i was offered the same and mine worked-

Solution 1: Wait a few minutes, and then again try to sign up.

Solution 2: Verify the information in your Microsoft account. To do this, follow these steps:

   Sign in­ to your Microsoft account at account.live.com

   Click Billing info and verify the information is correct.

   Click Payment options and verify that each option is correct

   Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.

   Try again to sign up for the Xbox Live Gold free 30-day trial membership.

Solution 3: Troubleshoot your connection to the Xbox server. To do this, see the Xbox Live connection error solution.

If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
