Status code: 80169D3A

I keep getting this every time I go to buy the 2 dollars for 2 months deal that displays on my xbox. I know my credit card information is up to date, I know I have the sufficient  funds in the thing, it just won't let me buy it for some reason. Please help and thank you.

I answered that question because I knew you guys would say that, there is no outstanding balance on my account at all. I still have about 60-100dollars on the thing.

Hey Roro, this could also mean that you might not have improper or incomplete information listed in your billing! Could you double check the information listed at the site lukear provided above. If you do find an inconsistency, changing it could do the trick! If not, you will have to contact phone support as this means your account needs to be checked out by an agent.

I have had the same problem as RoroZoropwnz, I have not got an outstanding balance either and it wont let me on my xbox live? What shall i do?

This has to do with information listed in your billing that is either improper or incomplete as Miss "K" stated above. Contact Xbox LIVE phone support and they will help you.

I have same problem I can't even put a 3 month code in or charge my credit card ????

Suggest you contact a Billing Agent. You can choose Option 1 after finding your country's support line: See http://tinyurl.com/XBLnumbers -

 

but a faster way to speak to a Billing Agent is to go to http://xbox.com -

sign in there if you can - then go to

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:2:5


If you are not in the US then replace the red US above w/ yr country code

(i.e., CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, et al.)


Click on Request A Call and type in a few lines explaining your issue

and you will get called back quicker than if you waited in queue on hold.

roro i have that problem to i got the 2 mouths deal then for christmas i got 1 year membership and it says i have to update my paypal but i dont wont to buy it out of paypal and when i redeem the code it says error 80169d3a  and on pc when i try it it says error try again later plzs help me! thanks

Hi DK! Sorry to hear your having troubles getting into your account! 

An 80169d3A error means that your account is currently locked, most likely due to your billing info. Since you are getting an error on your PC as well, you will want to go ahead and contact Xbox Support, and they will get your account unlocked.
