Status Code 80151011 and signing into Xbox LIVE

I can connect to Xbox Live fine, but when I selected my profile I had to go through the proofs. After entering my password, I got error code 80151011. I did all the steps in http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live/errors/error-code-80151011 (New security information, restarting the console, Deleting and re-downloading the system update), and decided to do the USB step last. 

I put in my info, and it started downloading my profile.. but then I got the error code again after a few seconds. I tried to sign into the profile, but it said that it wasn't downloaded properly.

So, I am kind of stuck now. At first it was just the proofs part; but now its getting my profile back too. Any solutions?

I've had this problem to and I just tried verachi's solution out and it worked, it's on the following thread forums.xbox.com/.../349692.aspx hope that helps

Yeah, me too.. I wish I had some confirmation though. If I have to wait, or if there is a current fix; I have yet to find out.

i just went on again the same thing i log in i save my password which i know is correct, right when it says i am signed in it instantly them gives me the same error and signs me out and begins asking me for the email and passcode. god i hope they correct this soon

Hey guys, sorry to hear your all running into this error code. Let's see if we can get this fixed for you. :D

Alright, first I would suggest you verify your Microsoft account security information. Make sure your phone number, alternate email, and security questions are all up to date.

Next, go ahead and clear your Xbox 360 system cache.  

If that doesn't do it, you will want to move and then redownload your Xbox LIVE profile to another storage device, such as a USB. Here is how to Download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile if you need help with that. 

Now, go ahead and restart your console, and then you will want to delete and then redownload system updates. To do that, follow these steps: Navigate to Settings>System>Storage> and then highlight your HDD, but don't press "A">When you have your HDD highlighted, press the following button sequence: LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X.>Select "Yes" when prompted to "Delete System Update", and then restart your console. It will then install system updates, and once it is done, redownload your Xbox LIVE profile, and sign into Xbox LIVE. 

I know that is a lot, but run through those steps, and let us know how it goes. Thanks!
