Status code: 4099-40A3-1381-0300-C800-0036

I have connected my new xbox 360 to the Net and it notifies me about an update required to connect to xbox Live.  However, when I connect to apply the update the process failed after downloading the patch from the Internet with the following status code:

4099-40A3-1381-0300-C800-0036.

I have looked for that error code on the Net without any success.

Does anyone has any clue what's wrong?

 the other option you have is to download the updates for the internet, and install them using a CD or USB drive. The following link will help you with the process.

I've got the same Status Code ! I've try with usb/cd update ! Any other solution? Please guys !

Same problem but my code is 4099-40A3-1600-267F-C000-0185. Tried all the troubleshooting many times over (USB update, clearing cache, RB LB X RB LB X) but it's still happening. Any other suggestions?

I tried everything , I think Microsoft has a very poor support level for xbox errors

the only left solution is to sell the console and get me a ps4
