Square Enix buys rights to True Crime: Hong Kong from Activision

True Crime: Hong Kong which was announced back at the 2008 VGA's, but was cancelled by Activision along with Guitar Hero earlier in the year, has been acquired by Square Enix. United Front Games (They made Modnation Racers on the PS3) are still working on the game. The game will need to be rebranded and called something else though.

This is good news, imo it looked pretty good and was disappointed Activision decided to cancel it. Good job Square Enix.
