I get this error when I attempt to upgrade to gold. I just created the account yesterday, I don't see how there can be something wrong with it. I have the correct credit card information entered, so why am I getting this alert? All I want to do is upgrade to gold but I can't.

I don't get an error code associated with the issue. I already tried purchasing it through this website, that also gave me an error.

Hey there Boom! I understand you're having some trouble upgrading to Gold. Can you let me know if this happens with any Gold purchase, or just certain ones? What is the full error message you get when purchasing on the console?

This may also be a billing issue. Can you confirm that your account information is current and correct, and that your payment method information matches this (name, region, etc)? Can you try a different payment method to see if that helps? Please let us know, thanks!
