Slow download speeds?

PC Wired is getting 26-30 Mbps, iPhone 4S 16 Mbps, and Xbox one (wireless) is only getting 4 Mbps. Any reason why my 2 year old cell phone would be getting better wifi download speed than Xbox one?? I know moving the xbox to wired would probably produce better speeds, but why so slow with wireless?

It's happening to me too. I don't see any difference though. So I don't know if it actually is constantly getting slow speeds or just doesnt know how to calculate them right.

Not trying to hijack this thread or anything, but you're not alone with the wireless problems, I too am having them as well (forums.xbox.com/.../4249110.aspx for reference).

There are many factors in determining the speed of your wireless networks and hotspots. Many variables are included that will show an increase & decrease in the upload and download speeds you are seeing on your end. Try turning off the WIFI for all of your other devices that are connected to your network and try hard wiring right in to see if this helps improve the speeds for you. If you have your router/modem or gateway next to : brick walls, glass, entertainment center, micro-wave, major appliances, etc.

Hopefully this helps you in anyway.

Happy gaming.

If you have your router/modem or gateway next to : brick walls, glass, entertainment center, micro-wave, major appliances, etc.  - this could cause interference and delay for speeds with your WiFi network.
