Signing out of another acct and accessing ours

My nephews are currently living with us and we noticed that when we turned the xbox on to play,

they were still signed in. We signed them out but dont know where to find our profiles on the system.

Not very tech savy with the xbox as its still pretty new to me on the moving around in the system.

If you could please help, would appreciate it!!

Apparently your nephew has auto-sign in turned on, on his account.  Here's how to turn it off.

  • While signed into your nephew's account, go into the "dashboard".  If the game has loaded, simply press the "guide" button (big button in the middle of the controller), press the "Y" button, and select "Yes".
  • Now go to the "My Xbox" part, select the profile, and press "A".
  • A list of options will appear, select "Profile"
  • In this list, select "Sign-in Preferences"
  • Under "profile Auto Sign-In", select "Off".

Now when you start up it won't automatically sign into your nephew's account.

When you turn on the console, you will see an option "Sign In, # Profiles Found".  Select that, then go across to the gamertag you want, then press "A"
