The xbox doesn't have an internal battery, so it will loose the time settings if you unplug it. Should correct itself once you connect to xbox live. If it doesn't, I suggest you check your region settings. Hope this will help:-)

Every time?

Make sure your hard drive is connected properly. Detatch it and then reconnect.

Good luck.

How detatch a 360 hard drive.

And as TroHAM mentioned, don't unplug the console.

Hey there Zaramo! Can you let us know what model console you are using and which storage devices you are using? Does this issue show for any profile logged into the console, or just you? Let us know, thanks!

Problem seems to be fixed,i found a thread on refreshing your console and after reading it i found i had a lot of partial downloads on my hard drive including some from recent update,so i deleted all partial downloads and cleared my cache,i don't now if this could cause the problem but my clock has not reset after refreshing my console.
