security update error 80151011

So i was trying to sign into xbox live and when i did a message came up saying "We need the email address and password for your account so we can check and update the security of your xbox profile".I clicked continue but when i enter my email and password is says "sorry, there was a problem.Please try again try later Code:80151011".Ive double checked my email and password and i have them right and ive been at this for a week please help!!!

Have you tried the following methods ?

  • Method 1: Verify your Microsoft account security information
  • Method 2: Clear the system cache
  • Method 3: Move and then redownload your Xbox LIVE profile
  • Method 4: Reset your Xbox 360 console
  • Method 5: Delete and then redownload system updates

There was a bug similar to this a couple weeks back and what I'm going to post bellow used to fix it.    I'm going to need you to do a couple things.

-

Delete your profile, clear your cache 3 times, I know it may sound silly but please do it 3 times, and then download your profile.

Delete Profile Safely:

Go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage.

Select All Devices.

Select Gamer Profiles.

Select the gamertag that you want to delete.

Select Delete.

Select Delete Profile Only.

Clear System Cache , don't forget to do it 3 times!:

Go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage.

Highlight Hard Drive, and press Y

Select Clear Cache, and press Yes.

Download Profile:

Push the middle button on your xbox 360 controller.

Select Download Profile.

-

Download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile

If that doesn't work for your account and your wife's please let us know.
