Second broken microsoft headset

I bought a day one xbox one on 23/11/2013, the headset broke through no fault of my own in 11/2014, I bought a replacement the same day which is the exact same model and it has again through no fault of my own broken, I feel I deserve a free replacement. I have been in contact with xbox support and after being very helpful and polite they have referred me to a case specialist and sent me here . Having to buy a second replacement for an official microsoft product that has broken twice under normal and fair usage to me is unacceptable and points to poor manufacture.
