I think your normal controller will only work for certain rounds with some needing you to have the big button to buzz in on certain game types to enable you to make your guess.  You should be able to get the game and buttons for dirt cheap pre-owned!

Cheers mate, I really only need to 2 big button controllers then,

Check Gamestation out, i got a Scene it game and 4 buzzers for 7 quid a while back.

Just checked Gamestation it's £7.99 but there out of stock, Typical Lol

which game is it? the first one you can use the d pad to buzz in!

EDIT: or it maybe clicking one of the sticks... i can't remember but i played it 2 months ago with 3 normal controllers and we could play every single round avail to the game.

yes do that. like i said not sure on the second game but the first one has it and i am sure if the first does the second would too. i will look tonight so i can tell you which one it is if you like.

You can play with joy pads, as stated above, the d-pad (any direction) works as the buzzer.

As for the big buttons, they always come as a set of 4, as they also need a single infra red receiver to make them work.

You should be able to get one of the other games with a full set cheap, or you might be better off just getting a 2nd joypad. (argos have some good deals on joypads at the moment)

Does the Joy-pad work with any of the scene it games then, So there is only 2 of us and we don't need the 4 big buttons?
