I Hope somebody can help.

I bought Assassin's Creed, but for some reason it does not want to save on my xbox.

I get the error messge: "Save Failed. Storage device in use has been removed".

This is impossible because im saving straight to the Xbox internal storage device.

I've cleared the cache, plugged out, and restarted, but still not.

There is 2.5g space left so that's not the problem either.

I'm not connected to the internet/Xbox live.

It seems to be saving other games, so could it be a game error and not the console?

Can somebody tell meif this is a console or game probelm and what I can do?

PS: I don't know if this is related, but my profile that I created somehow became corrupted as well since I last played Xbox (+-1 month ago). So I had to delete that as well and create a new one.

Did you recently kick your xbox?

XboxLive maintains your profile on their servers so there was no reason to start a new one .Simply delete and redownload your old profile. When you start up the game see if you can select the storage device.Maybe you saved earlier on hdd or a usb stick and it cant find it.You could try setting up your cloud storage and see if you can save there.
