same problem for me still been trying all day error downloadable content has changed: storage device has been removed

ive purchased this game yesterday new and i aint even been able to play online gaming everytime i get into a lobby and the game is starting on what map you are going to be entering it boots me and an error message comes up saying downloadable content has changed: storage device has been removedwhen clearly my hard drive is still in ive tried reformatting my hard drive removing the game and re installing update and even removing my profile and re download it but im still having the same problem i havent brought the game and xbox live for nothing, ive even tried black ops, mw3 mw2 and they work online fine just black ops what wrecking my head with the same error when i join a lobby and been trying all day today and still aint working

It could be a corrupt file and that's why it's not working correctly.

Try deleting the download, clearing your system cache, and then downloading the downloadable content again.

  1. Delete the video from your hard drive. For information about how to delete content from your console, please see Copy, move, or delete Xbox 360 content.
  2. Clear your Xbox 360 system cache.
  3. Restart the console.
  4. Try playing and re-download the Update for Black Ops

I have the same issue an I've done exactly that, deleted and cleared the cache as well as restarting and attempting again. But to no avail.

I was having the same thing I removed my disc and cleaned it with toothpaste I then re installed the game on my hard drive and it has worked fine since

I have the same problem. As do all of us, no there's nothing wrong with our discs..  It's not a disc problem.
