Ridiculous replacement timeframes

So like many others I found my Kinect bricked after the Feb 14 update. I called support, confirmed my Kinect was dead, then started an online ticket for Kinect RMA. I printed the sip and shipped my Kinect back over a week ago.

Being in Toronto I was lucky, in that the receiving address for Kinect RMAs is 40 minutes away in missisauga. From what I understand UPS delivered the parcel the next day.

It's now been a week, and nothing has been shipped back to me. I called support, and while the lady was very nice, she informed me it could be FOUR(4) WEEKS before my replacement arrives.

This is unacceptable for a machine that isn't even 90 days old, much less for a $500 purchase .

Something weird happened while posting that was messing up my formatting.

Anyway, I want to know what MS is doing to fix this, it's insane that there should be a 4 week delay on a failed part well within the warranty cycle.
