Reward Points for gold renewal not showing after nearly 2 weeks!

Like many others, I have renewed my yearly gold membership for 200 points. I renewed on february 1st 2012, the original memebership expires in march 2012, but site sez that it has been extended to March 2013 already. Anyway, I have never seen these point in my account. Does it only activate when the first membership expires?

Also, I never got my January survey points. Please help!

Reward points (i'm guessing that you are refering to the Live Reward Program here) take up to 45 open days to be added to your account.

The points for that renewal will not take effect until the actual renewal date.  Therefore, your original renewal date is set for March 2012 the new gold will not take effect until March 2012.  You will see those points as pending within 45 days after the new gold takes effect.

If you check the FAQ you'll see it takes longer than two weeks;

Xbox LIVE Rewards Points equal to or greater than 100 will be automatically deposited into your Xbox LIVE account each month. It may take up to 45 days for the points you earn to be deposited into your account. If your points total is less than 100, the points will be held as pending until 100 total points are reached and deposited into your account.

I'm still waiting for my 400 pts for renewing back in the first week of Jan... from what I read on the rewards forum, it takes 6 - 8 weeks after the closing of an offer (as in my case, renew in Jan for 2x the pts)... so in your case, I would say that you still have 4 - 6 weeks to wait.

Thanks for the replies everyone; it clears up the renewal issue. I'll wait and see what happens for the missed survey, perhaps that one went under the radar. I heard that depending on the browser, it may not register.

thats not true. if it says it worked, it worked. regardless of which browser you used.

Not necessarily true Mister Switch.  I did my survey on Feb 1st and it said it went through.  However, a week later I didn't have the points pending for it so I went back and had to do it again.  Probably a glitch in the system but enough of one to learn your lesson to double check.

Correct, there are glitches with the Xbox LIVE Reward survey program that can crop up but are not affecting every user.  No matter how many times it said my January and February survey was complete, the Points would never show up under "Pending" and I could always retake the survey.

I had to post in the Rewards forum and they were able to resolve the issue.  This occurred at the beginning of February, so they had to compliment me the January Reward Points.
