Removing Payment option from account

Alright, so I'm trying to remove/update a payment option on my account from the xbox but it won't allow that. Then it tells me to go to xbox.com to do it. But the problem is I am encountering a glitch where I cannot access "My account" and remove it.

is the payment form tied to a subscription service like xbox music?

have you tried doing it on commerce.microsoft.com?

Okay so the glitch is on xbox.com, whenever I try to access the "My Account" link I get sent to an error page and the message I get is like this

"It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

When you connect to Xbox LIVE, does it pop up a message saying "Your account has been suspended until you update your payment options."?  If so, here's how to fix it from your console.  Go to Settings --> Account --> Manage Payment Options.   Add a new credit card that can handle whatever overdue balance you have accrued.  Then return to Account Management, and under Your Memberships, select "Xbox LIVE Gold".  Then choose "Change Payment Options."   Select the new credit card you just entered.  This should charge the overdue balance, and lift the suspension status.  At this point you may, if you want, return to Manage Payment Options and remove the old credit card.

The "glitch" you encountered on Xbox.com is common for accounts that are in a billing suspension.  I'm not sure why it does that, but your account isn't broken, and you've done nothing wrong.  Just need to clear up the balance, and everything will be right as rain and working fine.  That is, assuming this whole thing is a billing suspension at all.  Let me know if that doesn't clear it all up.  Let me know if it does, too, if you like!

and see if you can do it. As stated above, if you have a billing issue you wont be able to change the payment type until the billing issue is cleared up on the current payment method
