Rejecting My Credit Card?? Help??

Xbox Live won't let me use my new credit card. It keeps telling me that the card is 'invalid' but it isn't. I double-checked many times and it still is refusing to let me pay.

Here are some notes~

-I lived in the UK but now I am living in the United States. My region is still UK because I cannot transfer to US region apparently.

- I was able to purchase points and subscription regardless. I recently just purchased points less than a week ago.

-I had to cancel my old card so Microsoft suspended my account.

I don't know what to do and I am really worried I wont be able to access live anymore on this account (are subscription cards region free??)

Please help!

My credit card is American since I live in America.. The thing is.. This has NEVER happened before. I was able to make purchases with my American card in the past. Even recently on the 26th of May.. What's the issue?

A lot of people are having this problem. Microsoft has no solution for it yet. Or at least they didn't when I called on Monday.

The credit card billing information must match the account region. If your account is UK, you will need a UK credit card. To use your US credit card, it must be entered on a US account.

Then why was I able to use my American card for the past 5 years until about a week ago? It doesn't make any sense.

I'd try going to your Billing. Microsoft.com account and verify all your information is correct.  For some reason their billing can be REALLY picky at times.

Either that or since it is a new card, it is the bank giving you fits, either way.
