Hi Fringieee

If you have an ethernet cable could you try connecting through that because that will tell whether it is an issue with your wireless on your xbox or with your internet on your xbox

I would like a few more details. Are you having an issue connecting to the network or Xbox Live?

So just to confirm wired works ok? If so and you've already looked here:- support.xbox.com please try this www.unofficialguidetolive.co.uk/.../111-troubleshooting-and-improving-wireless especially the bit about changing wireless channel

@M4ry, one laptop and three mobile phones.

@Shad0w, yes it does. I'll do that just now but I do not see how that will help. I already have it set to WPA2-PSK and changing the signal strength wouldn't affect random disconnects from 4 bars to nothing(it can't find any of the 6 available networks near the xbox when this happens). Where would I change the channel, I can't see it aha.

Thanks for the help btw, its appreciated!

How far away from your router is your xbox? If it's more than a room away try moving your xbox closer to your router

Changing channels can make a massive difference

Are you using the superhub? If so here is where the channel setting is:- screenshots.portforward.com/.../Wireless_Settings.htm

Try different channels and see who it goes

@Shad0w, nope I'm using a router(their latest one, I'd check the model but I don't have the password at the moment). I know what you mean now, I thought you meant on the xbox haha! I'll try that out when I get the password later on today(if anyone still has input please still say it).

@Fringeee I would try moving your xbox closer to your router before messing with the router settings because if the problem is only the distance you would have spent time changing settings on your router that didn't need to be changed.
