Random disconnect from Live

It has been the last 2-3 weeks that my Xbox Live connection randomly disconnects. I literally am online for an hour, then it disconnects and subsequently get disconnected every couple minutes right down to every 30 seconds thereafter. There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the time frames or as to when it will occur. I have thoroughly checked my Internet connection and my router (which is relatively new) including resetting it and the modem. Both have failed. The router is an Apple Airport Extreme with my Xbox hard lined into it, a computer hard lined into it, a laptop connected to it wirelessly and my PS3 is connected via hard line. All of which do not have any problems with connectivity except the Xbox. I tried Port Forwarding, but I think I may have not properly completed the process. I do not think I have set up a Static IP address. I tried, but believe I failed. I am stressing out!!!! Please help...

Have you tried plugging directly into your modem?  (the Airport is your router).  If it still happens with a direct modem connection, it's going to be an issue with the modem or the cable line itself.

As above the Airport is a router, what is your modem?

In response to ChimpZealot, I tried that last night and eventually it happened again. UGH! I also have the modem info. It is an Arris Model#TM502G. I am just confused. I have my PS3 connected and works without getting disconnected and neither do my computer and/or laptop when I am online. Is it possibly the ethernet card in the Xbox 360 itself? Thanks again for the help.

So you get your issue direct to the modem then? If so I would say its more likely to be something to do with your ISP. You can try different cables of course on your Xbox, even take your Xbox to a friends house and see if the issue follows you. If it does you know its a fault with the Xbox, if it doesn't its a fault with the ISP or modem

I contacted support via telephone yesterday. They had me do a deletion/recovery of gamertag as well as clearing my memory cache. I also changed my IP address as he suggested a certification issue. Idk, but I did it. 'Knock on wood' It has not had a disconnection since. He indicated that corrupt data can sometimes affect connectivity. Funny you mentioned that because I had a friend bringing his box over and I was going to hook it up to check his box on my connection until nothing happened. So, here's hoping. Thank you (again) very much for your help.
