R2D2 noises

My Star Wars edition Xbox makes the disc eject noises at all hours of the day (console turned on and off), the drive doesn't come out it just makes the noise.

Sounds like a hardware malfunction. If you still have the receipt then you could try and get a refund. Either way you should talk to wherever you bought it from.

You should contact Customer Service at (1-800-4MY-XBOX) and report this issue they can repair it or contact the retailer and try to exchange it.

Just wondering, how long do you leave the console unplugged for when you unplug it? Before you go through the repair process, it may be helpful to try and leave it unplugged overnight.
 

While unplugged, you can also wipe down the eject and power button with a clean, dry cloth.
