WHAT DO I DO?!

On the Xbox One, I can purchase content fine whenever I want. Games, micro transactions, doesn't matter. But today I was trying to preorder Destiny: The Taken King from the Xbox store on my computer and I receive the message in the title. What does it mean and how specifically do I fix it?

Do you have a parent account? Try changing your account's birthday or use the parent account and upgrade your account to an adult account.

I do have a parent account, but I don't know how to change my account into an adult one. It already is on the Xbox One; full access to everything. But on here it still says I'm a teen.

How do I change the birthday?

I just signed on to the adult one and looked through what I could change; no way to change age or upgrade into adult.

I would have the Parent log in and change the setting to allow you to purchase this content.

You can not change your age, you have to click on the my account, Security, Family and forums. On the left hand side, you will see a list of different options under my account

Change password

Change gamertag

Contact preferences

Forums preferences

Xbox 360 profile protection

Privacy & online safety

Microsoft family

Content access

Manage devices

Click on content access, here you will be able to change the access to allow.
