"Dark Souls: Special Edition" - Manual No Longer In The Box

So the game is apparently pretty big.

So much so that Namco Bandai have scrapped the manual that was to come in the "Special Edition" of the box.

Don't despair though.  What you receive instead is a code to download the manual.  The game, collector's art book and bonus CD's are still included.

And as a nice bonus for pre-orders and even in store for the first week, the Special Edition is meant to be priced the same as the regular edition as a "thank you" to the fans who made the last outing and this upcoming one such a success.

Looking forwards to this arriving next week.

Manual? You mean the Game Guide right? There's a bit of a difference lol

Yeah, what Specre said. The LE comes with a walkthrough for the game, but it has a code to download instead of a pysical copy.

More like saving money, just like money grabbing EA

Shopto told their customers yonks ago, im not really fussed about a guide anyway.

Aye, the guide that came with the Demon's Souls Black Phantom edition was pretty pants anyway. "Here's the boss Flamelurker, he's not too hard, just hit him with your sword and dodge his attacks, if you have difficulty look up some guides online..."
