Is this the right place for this? Yes? No? Whatever.
I turn on my Xbox and it doesn't connect me to Xbox live like it usually does, so I click "Connect." Strangely, it asks me to sign in with my email and password. Confused, I enter in my information... Only to get an error saying that something was wrong with my account, and tells me to go to account.live.com for help.
So, I sign in on my computer, and it tells me that it seems someone else might be using my account. I change my password and all that jazz and notice this "Recent Activity" option. Out of curiosity, I decide to check it out... And notice two IPs that I don't recognize. I go down the list, looking at more activity, and I see more IP addresses, going back to the 25th of last month. Activity includes incorrect passwords, successful sign ins and encounters with security challenges. Nothing has been taken or purchased, and today is the first time anything out of the ordinary has happened.
All of the IPs are from telecom groups, mostly in China, one in Belarus and one in Malaysia.
All I have left to say is... Wat?
