First Ill anwser the post question

What Country/State/Province do you live in? USA
Modem brand & model number: UBEE not sure model
Router brand & model number: Netgear WNR2000 V3
If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? internal I believe
Things you have tried:
Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown unknown
Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT? no
Any Error Codes you encounter: no
Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? time warner cable
After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)
W: 000-0021
X: 000-F001
Y: 20A8 - 4840
Z: 000-000
ID: FFFF-FFFF
L: 0015 - 10F0
Q: 0015 - 10F1
T: WIRELESS
D: 192.168.1.1
S: WPA2
C: 6

I have no idea what all that above means so please help with that since I do not see the "bars" everyone is saying should pop up at the end of the test to see what my connection is I see this:

Xbox 360...netgear...internet...xbox live

now I do have bars above where it shows my "netgear" but they are all white(four white bars)

I just have insane lag, now I do connect wired also but it doesnt help so I figured I would run the test on wireless to see if there were more issues, I can post the wired results if you guys need me too.

My big problem is wondering if its my router or modem? As in do I need a high performing modem/router I know nothing about them so I just got the ones the cable company provided. But I figured if I was wired it wouldnt be an issue.

My router and modem are around 15 ft from my xbox, my xbox is out in the open next to a minifridge and a wall but nothing is between my xbox and router except my tv

my xbox is also a newer slim black but it is refurbished.

So big question, what kind of modem/router should I buy to get a better connection, what are the best wires to use to get a better connection. I figure it has to be my hardware.

Lag? Try bypassing the router with a cable direct from the Xbox to the modem, and if the lag persists, it's in the modem or ISP; if not, it's in the router.
