Purchased downloaded games still appear as demo version when signed on to the same X-Box as another user.

The game is purchased and I have full use when signed on as myself.  But when my daughter signs on to the same X-Box she sees only the demo version.  Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like a licensing issue. When you download something it is tied to the gamertag it's download on as well as the console it's downloaded on. So if you switch consoles you have to do a license transfer so the license will be connected to the new console so other accounts can have access to the content and it can be used offline. You can do a license transfer here - http://xbox.com/drm

I didn't switch consoles.  It works on the very same console with the purchasing gamertag.  It does not work with another person signed into that same console.

At one time I did have the red ring problem and Microsoft swapped out units (I held onto the hard drive) but that was some time ago and I haven't any issues since.

Since Microsoft swapped out the units, they should have done a license transfer for you at the time, but it sounds like you're still having licensing issues.

You may want to try redownloading the content from your download history - support.microsoft.com/.../962228

If Microsoft did do the license transfer for you when they swapped units for you, that may be the only part that's missing.

If I was having licensing issues - wouldn't I be having issues playing the full versions with any user?  I'm not ... I can play all purchased full versions as long as I am signed in with my own gamertag.

We did do a license transfer at the time.

I've tried downloading the game again.

Actually that is what would happen with a licensing issue. The way the licenses work is it's tied to the gamertag that purchased it and the console it was purchased on. So if you bought it with your gamertag you would be able to play it on any console as long as your account is signed into Live, but other users wouldn't be able to play it unless you switch the console license to that console. One way to tell if the license transfer process was successful is to remain offline with your GT and see if you get the full version or the demo. (Meaning don't login to XBL)

if I remain logged off - I do not have access to the full version of the game.  What would this mean?

It means that for some reason the license transfer wasn't successful and you need to do a license transfer in order for you content to work correctly.
