Profile wont connect even after redownload...

it all started about a month ago when xbox would ask for securtiy proofs when you logged in. id answere the questions and log in but every time i would go into a app or start a game it would disconnect me and make me reconnect that was no big deal it was aggervating but i could handle it. now every time i try to log on it says the profile is unable to connect delete and redownload so i have like 5 times yesterday alone. now even when i redownload it, it says the same thing. i read on the forums that i probably need to clear my cache, if i do this will it delete everything on my hard drive like games, map packs etc...
