Problems with Online Safety Management

I went into my account settings to edit my online safety settings, I edit them to allow everything and click save. Yet I still cannot message people on xbox live, or anything. I'm getting quite frustrated please get back to me ASAP, this is really pissing me off. I'm trying to get some of my old friends onto my new account. Thanks in advance.

Hello, this might not be due to your online safety settings. This most likely has to do with a message limit (if you send too many messages - don't know the exact limit) you're limited for the day, you should be able to resend messages in 24 hours of this is the case. If you don't get the ability to send messages in 24 hours try to contact XBOX Support for your country to see if you have a Communication Ban on your account.

Are you suggesting that after you change the settings they revert back to not allowed? Are you on a Child Account, or a Secondary Account on a Family Plan?
