The reason threads get this big is because Microsoft do naff all about the issue. Had this problem since launch day and still no reply from advocacy team. Always me who has to call them. Have now had to purchase new live accounts for both my boys. All
microsoft says when I ask for compensation is " we didn't tell you to purchase new. No you can't have any money back" If it wasn't for the fact my sons friends have Xbox ones, trust me it would be back at the shop and a PS4 would be sitting on the side instead.
Customer support is very poor for a company the size of Microsoft. Won't be buying Mircosoft again in future.
