Problem with Xbox Live Gold Membership

Today I bought a Gold Membership from this site. Now when I sign in on xbox live it says i'm still on the silver membership and cannot play online. However when I check my membership details it says I am a gold membership..... help?

It takes a while for the system to populate your gold membership.  If you want to speed it up you could try deleting your profile (only profile not profile and games) and then recovering it.
