Problem with updating, services, and account access!!!

My xbox and my sons xbox are suddenly un able to dowload game patches, access our accounts via xbox, or even visit the marketplace. In fact those many of the options don't even show on the scroll. Ie cant access any of the live services!. I can see players online and play online etc. When I log in my password it gives me a message saying some services are temporarily unavailable and will reappear when available. But its been 3 days and I see no reports of outages. When I try and patch a game I get  an error message .

My account is active as is my sons.

Weve not modified anything.

We have reset the router and the cache.

How do we fix this. This is a HUGE inconvenience.

Ok, more specifically; when I sign in I get the following message. "Some of xbox live is temporarily unavailable. You can access profile, communicate, and play online. Will appear when available. then a code 807b0190 appears.

When I try and patch a game I get a "can't down load", and a bunch of crap about checking connection etc and an error code of 315f-0000-d080-0200-807b-0190

Are you getting that last error when you try to update the console, or when you try to update a game? For manually updating the console, check here (support.xbox.com/.../system-updates), for updating games, check here (forums.xbox.com/.../5038.aspx).

Game, Ive done the USB thing in the past once. That last error is the type of error I get with every single game patch. The first error is what I get when I sign in.

What is really concerning is that when I SIGN IN I cant access the market, or any services. I get that first error message. That tells me its something more than just an issue with game patches.

Try to delete your profile (profile only, not items!), clear you system cache, restart your console, and recover you profile. Does this alleviate the Marketplace issues?
