Problem with charging account

A while ago a purchased the xbox live 12 month starter kit from amazon. I used the 12 xbox live code, and it works fine; even got the email saying it was now active and my old subscription canceled. But when the date came that the old subscription would have been renewed, I was charged $10 on my credit card. Why is this, and how can I fix it?

Check your auto renewal status under the My Account link at the top of xbox.com.

If you were on auto renewal - and had Gold active from the 12month you should not have been charged for the auto renewal.

You may want to call support if the 12month card was still active.
