problem vith the e-mail adress

Hello,

i've got a problem with the adress indicated as my X-box live account, it's not a valid one and I can't have access in order to verify it..

 

Is it possible to change ?

You can only change your email address from your console by following these steps support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

If its telling you that the email or password is incorrect... it may be that the email you are switching to is a gmail or yahoo email, or pretty much something other than a @live or @hotmail email address... If that is the case, that's fine, all you have to do is turn it into a microsoft account by going to signup.live.com/signup.aspx and in the box that says "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" enter the email address you would like to use.... then fill the rest out like a normal email, then BOOM you got yourself a fancy new Microsoft account. if that doesnt work after that you may need to post to the forums that deal with microsoft accounts... answers.microsoft.com/.../liveid

I've got this message, and when I click on the "use a different email address as your microsoft account"

This appears: ""The email address associated with your Microsoft account can't be changed"

Really I can't understand...

Were you trying to update the email address from your console? Try changing it here (xbox.com) Log-In & click 'My Account' at the top right of the home page and then scroll down. Towards the bottom right there is a link "Contact Preferences"

That should be an easy fix. I don't know of any reason that you couldn't update your email, unless there has been some restriction placed on your account. (edit: See above post for possible email lock reason)

There are a few reasons as to why it wont let you switch out your email address... one of the most common is if you have recently downloaded your profile to any consoles in the last 30 days. But, if you're not even able to sign into the account online, nor are you able to sign in on account.live.com, you may want to get in touch with the people who assist with Microsoft accounts. I'd suggest filling out this form windows.microsoft.com/.../get-support hopefully this helps :)

Yes, it says that I can't change my adress, so what the adress can't be verified and I still can't connect to the forza.net...

I'am gold member and billing info are sent to an activ mailbox which is different from the one coupled with my xbox live account..

Hello asfrag,

Are you saying that you don't have access to that email account or your Xbox Live account?

As long as you can log-in to your Xbox Live account, you will just need to update your email address to a current address and then respond to the "verification" email to verify the address & associate it with your Xbox Live account.
