Problem connecting to WPA-2 wireless network

Just opened an account and wanted to download Netflix, tried to connect to my network, entered my netwrol password and the test failed. The xbox360 is 6 months old. I tried the NEtwork Key - no good retired the password and the test failed. Do I need a wireless adapter?

Hi,

Please read:- forums.xbox.com/.../811997.aspx

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Thanks

Hi there CinnamonFob112 !

Yes, if you have a original Xbox360 console, you will need to purchase a wireless adapter, here is a link on one that you might prefer - www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=s9_simh_gw_p63_d1_i1

On the other hand, you may want a ethernet cable, which connects directly to your xbox console through your router. And it will improve your connection as well ! Here is a link to buy a ethernet cable (You should already have one that came with your router) but just in case, www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=sr_1_1

If you have a Xbox360 Slim, you will have one built in.

Hope this helps,
